Guiyang (population 3.22 million) was settled in the Song Dynasty ( 960-1279 )and incorporated in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) . Located in the eastern region of Yungui (Yunyan-Guizhou) Plateau, Guiyang is the capital of Guizhou Province.

Established in 1906,Guiyang No 1 High School remains a Model school of the highest standards. The campus occupies about 67,000 square meters. There are 265 staff comprising of some of the most educated and professional teachers in all of China. There are 73 classes and over 4000 students receiving the best quality education in Gui zhou Province.

Monthly Salary: 7,000RMB
Teaching hours: 20 hours per week / two days off (weekend) per week.
