Brief Introduction to Enshi Technical College
Enshi Technical College is a public college. It’s located at the bank of beautiful Qingjiang River, which is a big branch of the Yangtze. It is a unique college in the minority area in Hubei Province, and also the oldest and largest college in Wuling Mountainous area. It has a history of moe than 70 years with more than 100,000 qualified graduates needed by various industries.
The campus is composed of three main parts, covering 48.02 hectares, with building area of 180,000 square meters. There are 520,000 volumes of books, near 1000 kinds of periodicals in the college library.
The teaching staff is composed of 562 persons, among which 275 are full time teachers including 123 associate professors, 152 double-skilled teachers, 84 postgraduates.
There are 15 departments: Economy Management Department, Computer and Information Engineering Deparment, Electric and Mechanic Engineering Department, Bioengineering Department, Foreign Language Department, Architectural Engineering Department, Teachers Training Department, Politics and Law Teaching and Research Section, Lab Center, Adults Education Department. 30 majors invoving subjects of art, science, agriculture , industry, economy, education and management are available. There are 103 labs inside the college and 54 practicing bases outside.
Now more than 8000 full time students are at school.

Accommodation: a free private furnished apartment on the school campus. It includes two private bedroom, full set of furniture. Washroom. Color TV with cable, living room, computer with internet access.

Medical Insurance: The school is responsible for the teacher medical coverage.
Paid Holiday : 2 days off per week; public holidays in China; winter holiday.
Work permit : The school will provide work permit for China at no cost to the teacher.
