Requirements:
BA and
and
TESOL /TEFL. Some teaching experience preferred
Monthly Salary: RMB 5,000 ---RMB6,000
Teaching hours: 20 to
22 hours per week
Overtime on teacher's prior consent and
payable at RMB80/hr beyond the contracted basic hours.
Accommodation:
Shared apartment with private bedroom, washroom, color TV with
cable, air-conditioner, telephone, microwave, washing machine,
shower, 24 hour hot water supply, free supply of electricity
(monthly maximum of RMB200 per head), water, free supply of drinking
water, complete supply of bedding (including sheets, blankets,
pillows and towels).
Internet access (Free):
computer with internet access (broadband) in the school from 8:00am
to 9:30pm everyday.

children to adult
Number of students per class in the centre:
18 (Different for in-school teaching contracts or in-company
training programs - see below).
Teaching outside the centre:
The centre contracts to deliver teaching at schools or organizations
outside the centre. The number of students will vary.
Transportation will be provided with the company of a centre staff
throughout the journey.
Insurance:
Teachers will be covered with an accident to a maximum compensation
of RMB50,000.
Therefore, teachers are advised to take adequate insurance cover
before leaving their own country.

Paid Holiday
Two days off per week. New Year in
January (1) day;* Chinese New Year in January/February (3) days; Qing
Ming Festival in April (1) day; Labor Day in May (1) day; Mid-autumn
Festival in August (1) day;
*The
common practice in China for golden week holiday in
Chinese New Year
is such
that the employee will have 7 consecutive days off. (3 days paid
holiday, 2 weekend days, 2 extra days to be compensated for by
employee working on weekends either before or after the golden
week).
Paid
Holiday Annual Leave
(for the 9-month contract only)
The teacher shall be credited with 7
days annual leave upon commencement of employment with the School -
7 days of which have to be taken during the winter school holiday
period in January /February.
Travel Allowance for a
3
month contract : On
completion of the 3 month contract, a travel allowance RMB 1,000 will be made
Travel Allowance for a
9
month contract :On
completion of the 9 month contract, a travel allowance
RMB 4,000 will be made.
Sightseeing Tour:
The Employee shall enjoy one free tour to Hong Kong (For 9 month
contract only)
