The brief introduction of school
Gallop International English School was established in the year of 2004. It is situated in Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi province, R.P. China. Gallop is a well-known English training school in this city, which is qualified to deal with foreign affairs and makes foreign teaching the main focus. We keep on inspiring students' interest of studying English and making learning more fun. Different courses in Gallop cater for people of all ages.
Due to professional teachers and teaching equipments as well as efficient methods, Gallop has been recognized by more and more people and grown very fast. Since its establishment, there are over 3000 students' enrollment, including 1200 students in 2007.
The foreign teachers are all native English speakers. They have Bachelor of Arts degrees or above and love teaching. Moreover, they are carefully selected and trained by Gallop. With the assist from Chinese teachers, they create a genuine English environment for learners through interactive teaching method and colorful activities. Not only teach English on class, but they also broaden the students' horizons.
Advanced facilities are equipped, including central air conditioning system, audio and aural classroom, computer, OVH and etc... Besides, Gallop occasionally holds various activities, such as oral English competition, summer/winter camp, Christmas party and so on. Class size has been controlled under 18 students in order to guarantee the teaching results. Students in Gallop will learn English from a comprehensive environment.
The school provides safe, neat comfortable and free apartments for foreign teachers. The apartments have all the necessary furniture and electrical appliances. (These necessities include computer, TV, DVD player, washing machine, fridge, sofa, dining table and etc...)

Requirements: BA,TEFL or plus two years teaching experience preferred
Monthly Salary: 5000 RMB for the first month as probation period
5500 RMB starting from the second month.
Teaching hours: 20-22 classes per week / two days off per week
Age of students: children to adult
Accommodation: The school will provide a free apartment with a living room, kitchen, bathroom,
bedrooms, air-conditioner, TV, DVD, telephone, and furniture, for the period of
employment. The teacher will share an apartment with another teacher, but each of them
has his/her own bedroom. The teacher needs to pay 900RMB per month if she/he
wants to have a private apartment.
Paid Holiday : Two days off per week. Christmas Day,25th December(1)
day;
New Year in January (1) day; *Chinese New Year in January/February
(3) days; Qing Ming Festival in April (1) day; Labor Day in May (1)
day; Dragon Boat Festival in June (1 day); Mid-autumn Festival in
August (1) day; *National Day in October (3) day. * The
common practice in China for golden week holiday in October is such
that the employee will have 7 consecutive days off. (3 days paid
holiday, 2 weekend days, 2 extra days to be compensated for by
employee working on weekends either before or after the golden
week).
* For the 10 month contract, teacher will have 10 days off
in a low (paid holiday) during the Chinese New Year
Air-ticket: Air-ticket Reimbursement for a 5 month contract:
On completion of the 5-month contract, an air-ticket reimbursement
RMB 3,000 will be made.
Air-ticket Reimbursement for a 10 month contract:
On completion of the 10-month contract, an air-ticket reimbursement
RMB 8,000RMB will be made plus a local travel allowance 500RMB.
Free Chinese Lessons: free Chinese language classes not less than two hours per week.
